Outreach and Volunteering


The following are outreaches to and in our community in which Cross of Hope members are involved. To find out more, contact the Cross of Hope member or group listed, or the agency directly.


Joy Junction

Joy Junction, the largest family shelter for homeless men, women, and children in the state of New Mexico, needs help. They need donations of the following items:

Bleach and detergent
Baby diapers (size 1-5T)
Copy paper
Trash bags and industrial yard bags
20 folding army cots
Two-way radios
Van or shuttle bus to transport families
Color ink cartridges for HP Laserjet 1020
Plastic shopper bags for their thrift store
Tile for the front office
Non-prepared food
Multi-line phone with transfer and intercom capabilities
First aid kits and supplies
Mop heads
Office supplies, such as pens, white-out, folders, and tape

Roadrunner Food Bank

Koinonia Familia donates time and food to Roadrunner Food Bank. A great place to volunteer with young children, Koinonia Familia helps fill food boxes that go to needy families. Learn more about the food bank, make a donation, or volunteer at http://www.rrfb.org/get_involved!.htm.
