Walking in the Way Wednesdays (W3) is an exciting, weekly group for adults and kids of all ages with special activities for children ages kindergarten through 12th grade.
W3 meets every Wednesday during the school year from 5:15-8:00 p.m. Each child experiences God's love through relationships that are built on biblical principles. We model our evening on what we know of the early church. Acts 2:42 reads: "They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of the bread and the prayers." This simple verse gives us the format for our evening. We include fellowship time, a shared meal, Bible study, and worship from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. All students will have a curriculum appropriate to their grade levels. Younger children are welcome in the nursery as needed; adult Bible studies are also offered. Nursery children may also participate in the shared meal with their families, fellowship time and worship. All are welcome
The program is led by Richard Hielkema, Director of Youth and Family and staffed by volunteers. There is no fee, but free will offerings are accepted to help cover the cost of food, craft items, and other supplies.
