4 Week Experience
Sundays, 9:45 am, October 8 - November 5 or
Wednesdays 7 pm, October 11 - November 1
The book of Jonah paints a picture of God who pushes God's people to go beyond religious and ethnic boundaries to share the love and mercy of God with all people. It also tells of God's desire to save all people. This study explores how Jonah offers a vision in which God's love and mercy is not only available to the people already in relationship with God, but to all peoples as well. Come for either Wednesday evenings or Sunday mornings, or alternate between the two.
Wednesdays will be led by Pastor Matt.
Sundays will alternate between Pastor Adam and Pastor Matt.
Books are available for pick-up at the church office and/or the Great Hall on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. We will be using the Biblical text as well as the Books of Faith Series from Augsburg Fortress which typically has 7 pages, or so, per week of additional material.
The Wednesday Bible study will happen as a part of Walking in the Way Wednesdays, or Wᶟ. On Wednesdays please feel free to come for dinner 5:45-6:30 pm, attend worship 6:30-7 pm (music, scripture, sermon, communion), and Bible study 7-8 pm. Feel free to come for any/all portions of the evening that suits your spiritual needs for the day! Invite a friend, and see you there!
